Beau Brady, now credited as Johnny Brady (born 11th October 1981, Sydney)[1] played Noah Lawson from 2000-2004.
Biography[]
Beau/Johnny grew up in Sydney[2]. He began acting in High School and appeared in 3 episodes of Breakers in 1999. He was cast as Noah Lawson in 2000 and remained on Home and Away until 2004. His character is best remembered for his relationship with Hayley Smith. He was also nominated for four Logie Awards during his time on the show. His character was killed off in 2004. He now regrets spending so long on Home and Away. In an interview with TV Week, he said ""Any advice I'd give to an actor who was going on Home And Away is to stay for one year and then get out. I had some fun, but there are a lot of things I'd go back and change if I could." [3]It didn't help that his high-profile off-screen romance to co-star Bec Cartwright (Hayley Lawson) ended with her swiftly getting engaged to tennis star Lleyton Hewitt.
After H&A[]
Beau appeared in the AFI award winning TV movie The King: The Story of Graham Kennedy (2007). In the years after leaving Home and Away, he moved abroad. In 2008 he had a guest role in the British TV series The Bill. He moved to Los Angeles but struggled to find regular acting work.
