Belinda Jarrett is a former Australian actress who played Karen Dean in Home And Away from 1990 to 1993. [1]

Karen's notoriously awful driving skills are about to have fatal consequences.
Belinda's first credited TV appearances were as Karen Dean on Home and Away. She made her debut on the show in Episode 589 (26 July 1990). She remained a regular until Episode 842 (27 August 1991) when her character, who'd gone bad, was arrested and sent to prison. Karen's dangerous driving killed David Croft, played by Guy Pearce. You may have heard of him.
She reprised her role of Karen for 12 episodes in early 1993, playing a major part in the exit storyline for her on-screen brother Blake (Les Hill). She was last seen in Episode 1175 (19 February 1993)
After H&A[]
She made one appearance in A Country Practice in November 1992. By coincidence, Gavin Harrison, who'd played her life-changing boyfriend Revhead on H&A, had moved on to that show by that time.
In 1994, she had a supporting role as mean girl Janine in the successful Australian movie Muriel's Wedding [2] This is her last credited on-screen acting appearance.
