Ben Steel (born 9th October 1975)[1] played Jude Lawson between 2000 and 2002.[2]
Biography[]
Ben was born in Dandenong, Victoria in 1975. He began taking acting lessons as a child and appeared in a TV advert when he was 11. After leaving school he moved to Sydney and continued his study at the Australian Theatre for Young People. He made his TV debut in 1992 when he appeared in the award-winning crime drama Phoenix. He appeared twice in Water Rats. Behind the camera Ben worked as a production runner on Heartbreak High, Murder Call, The Matrix, Oscar & Lucinda and Moulin Rouge.
Home and Away[]
In 2000 Ben was cast as Jude Lawson on Home and Away. He appeared in more than 160 episodes before he left. In 2001 he was nominated for a Best New Talent Logie

In the years since leaving Home and Away, Ben has lived and worked in the UK, the USA, the Czech Republic, New Zealand, Aruba (an island in the south Caribbean seas) and his native Australia.
