Chris Egan as Nick Smith
Christopher Egan (born 29th June 1984) played Nick Smith from 2000 to 2003. He relocated to the United States where he has largely acted in sci-fi and fantasy productions.
Biography[]
Chris grew up in Sydney and attended McDonald College School of Performing Art. He also trained at the Sydney Festival Dance School, where he trained in singing, dancing and acting with Kick Performance Group. As a teenager he performed in "Les Miserables" and "West Side Story" at Sydney's Zenith Theatre.

Chris was cast as Nick Smith in 1999 and appeared onscreen from 2000-2003.
After Home and Away[]
Christopher, all grown up
After leaving Home and Away he moved to Los Angeles. In 2005 he appeared in 3 episodes of the mini-series Empire. After this he had significant roles in the independent film "Alpha Male" and the feature "The Decameron" (aka "Virgin Territory") playing opposite Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton. He also appeared in "Resident Evil: Extinction" and in 20th Century Fox's "Eragon". In 2006 he was cast in the Fox television series,'Vanished' and in 2009 appeared opposite Ian McShane in Kings. In 2014-2015 he took the lead in the SyFy series Dominion.
