Clarissa House (born 6 September 1963)[1] played Beth Hunter from 2003 to 2007.
Pre H&A Career[]
Clarissa was born in Melbourne but was raised in Perth. There, she completed a BA in Journalism and Theatre Arts at Curtin University. After graduating she worked at the Perth Playhouse for a year before moving cross-country to Sydney. In 1985 she enrolled in NIDA and graduated in 1987 with a Degree in Performing Arts (Acting). She made her TV debut in a 1988 episode of A Country Practice. She also had guest roles in Neighbours, Blue Heelers, All Saints, State Coroner and chances. In 2001 she appeared in one episode of Home and Away, playing Janice Angelo.

Clarissa was cast as Beth Hunter in 2003. The role of Beth was her first ongoing role [2]and she stayed on the show until 2007. Her character was killed off in a car accident.

Clarissa and her husband returned to Melbourne. She has only appeared intermittently on TV since. She had a guest role in a 2008 episode of All Saints and her most recent credit on IMDB is in the 2017 TV mini-series House of Bond. More recently she has worked as an acting teacher and as a garden designer[3]
