David Weatherley
David Weatherley was born in March 1939 in London, England[1]. When he was 17 he moved to Canada and joined the Canadian Army. He served in the military for 5 years. After that, he moved to New Zealand hoping to continue his military career. Following a motorcycle accident, he became an actor. He became closely associated with the Mercury Theatre in Auckland. In 2016, The Variety Artists Club of New Zealand awarded him a Scroll of Honour for his services to the entertainment industry. As well as appearing in Home and Away, plus other Australian dramas such as A Country Practice, David has clocked up some rather unusual appearances. He was in a Power Rangers TV series, Worzel Gummidge and the first Lord of the Rings movie.
