
Debra Byrne
Debra (Debbie) Byrne (born 30 March 1957)[1] is a veteran Australian actress, pop singer and stage performer. In 1992 she appeared in a character role of Julia Bowman, mother of the terminally ill Meg Bowman. In 1980, she and fellow performer John Farnham, presented a TV variety show called Farnham & Byrne. John Farnham also went on to appear on Home and Away but as himself.

Debra first came into the public eye at the age of 14 when she appeared on the popular 1970s TV talent show "Young Talent Time". She was originally known as Debbie Byrne Since then she has had hit albums and singles, performed in big-budget musicals and acted on TV and in movies[2].
