Synopsis[]
It is now the morning of Pippa and Michael's wedding and both of them are pretty nervous. Pippa has a weird wedding-related dream/nightmare just before she wakes up while Michael panics in his caravan about getting married in holey black socks. They aren't the only people feeling a bit green around the gills this morning. Donald still has no lovebirds to give to Sophie and Sally and has had to lie to the girls about why they can't have them just yet. He doesn't feel any better about it when Bobby mentions that Adam was in the Diner at 9:00 that morning, making lots of phone calls.
A surprise visitor comes to Summer Bay House. It is Ben, in his army uniform. He wants to convince Carly to come back with him. It isn't looking too promising though because the pair of them continue the same arguments they'd been having before Ben left. Adam shows up with a large gift-wrapped bird cage but is evasive when asked what is in there.
Pippa is suffering from a monster dose of pre-wedding jitters and is reluctant to change into her wedding dress. She tells Carly she can't marry Michael and wonders if they've mistaken love for loneliness. Carly manages to calm her down and during it, admits she still loves Ben. Pippa comes downstairs and marries Michael. While they exchange vows, Carly thinks back on some of the words Ben has said to her. Will they be enough to convince her to change her mind about going with him?
Galahs. Not flaming variety though.
The reason for Adam's evasiveness soon becomes clear - instead of lovebirds, there are two galahs in the cage. Still, he has moved on to his next big plan. He is still determined to prank Pippa and Michael on their wedding night and wants Haydn and Blake to come along.
Nobody hears a vehicle pull up outside but it soon becomes clear who the visitors are. Two Military Policemen have come in search of Ben. They tell a stunned Carly that he was reported Absent Without Leave (AWOL) and they're here to arrest him.
