Synopsis[]

Bye Bye Karen - your time in Summer Bay doesn't seem to have stood to you
Adam makes it clear to Karen that he has no intention of covering for her. He believes if she owns up to the police, the outcome will be more favourable than if he tells them what happened. Karen still doesn't want to go that route but Adam warns her that by this time tomorrow, his memory will have returned.
Ailsa confides in Alf that she doesn't think Karen is telling them everything about what happened the night of the accident. They aren't sure what to do but think having Blake talk to her would be a good place to start. Blake is a little defensive at first but it's clear that he too isn't fully buying Karen's version of the story.
Michael comes home from Alf's store and is taken aback to find Pippa home a day early. Looking decidedly green around the gills, he tells her about the car accident that killed David. Predictably, the conversation doesn't go well when Pippa finds out the accident had happened two days beforehand. They have an argument that continues to fester throughout the day.
Meanwhile, back at the hospital Chris Hale and Nick are going over the details of the accident again with Adam. Nick isn't buying into Adam's memory lapse story, though he is perhaps encouraged by Adam's hint that by the same time tomorrow, the fog will have cleared. Meanwhile, Chris Hale gets the news that Revhead has been picked up in The City.
Blake catches up with Karen who finally confesses that she was driving the car that caused that fatal crash. She still doesn't want to own up but instead, asks Blake to cover for her while she skips town and goes to somewhere like Queensland. Like Adam before him, Blake tries to reason with her and says that owning up to the police would work in her favour.
Chris and Nick call to the diner looking for Karen. Their timing is good - when they leave the building Blake and Karen are coming towards it. Blake has pretty much convinced his sister that she should 'fess up but when she sees the two policemen she takes to her heels. She doesn't get too far and within moments, she has been cuffed and arrested. To really make her day, she is told that Revhead has not only been arrested but he has sung like a canary about their antics.
Clearly upset about the ongoing row that he and Pippa have been having all day, Michael asks her to sit down and talk. He is worried that the pair of them not talking will turn into something worse. That happened during his marriage to Cynthia and he's scared that it will happen again. He admits he now thinks what he chose to do is wrong but he felt it was the right thing at the time. Pippa forgives him but of course, the next hurdle will be breaking the news to Sophie when she gets back.
At the Stewart's, Alf reassures Blake that his sister will get bail at the court hearing the following day. She will be back under their roof by tomorrow night. Meanwhile, a handcuffed Karen is put into a police car.
