Synopsis[]
Bobby agrees to go with Marilyn to the classical music concert in Yabbie Creek while Ailsa will babysit Sam. Haydn and Blake find out, to their horror, that Alf intends to travel with them and the girls in their car. He is not for turning so they reluctantly accept that it is his way or the highway.
Karen is still annoyed with Revhead for skipping town without her but she is easily talked around. She agrees to get him food and some candles, because the electricity has been disconnected in his old house. He has no money and tells her he needs to break into a house shortly. Karen obtains supplies for Revhead in Alf's store and while she is there, Adam calls in. He starts to tell her that he only sees her as a friend but she cuts him short and insults him.
Blake and Haydn's evening with the two girls and Alf doesn't go well. The bus overtakes them on the way to the concert and by all accounts, most of the journey was soundtracked by the sound of Alf cracking jokes at Blake's expense and criticizing his driving. Their two passengers - Judy and Kate - decide to go home on the bus.
Marilyn's night at the concert doesn't end well either. She overhears a lady in the toilets referring to her as a "half naked floozy" and is wolf-whistled at. When she gets home, she gets upset and asks Bobby is there something wrong with the way she dresses?
Blake comes home from the diner, where he was given the brush-off by one of the girls from earlier. He is furious with Alf because of the way he embarrassed him all evening.
