Heather Frazer

Heather Frazer is Marilyn Chambers's daughter. She was born in 1995 after Marilyn had an affair with married cattle station owner Tim Frazer. After Heather was born, Tim and his wife adopted Heather and brought her up on the cattle station. Marilyn moved away and never told anybody about the secret she had been harbouring. She was played by Sofia Nolan

Heather came to Summer Bay in search of Marilyn. Along the way she had a fling with Nikau Parata. But mostly she had come to town to exact revenge on Marilyn for abandoning her. Her upbringing on the cattle station hadn't been a happy one and she blamed Marilyn for all of her woes. Things weren't helped when Marilyn didn't want to let anybody know who she was.

In a final confrontation, Heather lured Marilyn, Roo Stewart, Alf Stewart, Irene Roberts and Leah Patterson to a lavish lunch in a mansion in the middle of nowhere. She publicly revealed who Marilyn was to her friends. Not content with just doing that, Heather drugged them all and attempted to kill Marilyn (as you do). It ended when the two of them fell from a balcony. Both survived, though there were worries for a while that Heather might have suffered spinal injuries.

In the hospital, Marilyn apologised to Heather for all that had happened to her during her early life. She also told her embittered daughter that she was going to cut her out of her life.

Heather shares her first name with her biological grandmother Heather Davidson. The older Heather was seen briefly in 1991 when Marilyn went in search of her real parents.

The Heather storyline is troublesome for long-term viewers of Home and Away, because it rewrites a significant part of Marilyn's 1990s backstory. In 1992, Marilyn had a whirlwind romance with widower Phil Bryant and got engaged to him. She moved away to live on his farm and married him off-screen some months later. The marriage ended in 1995 when Phil had an affair. Marilyn returned to Summer Bay and later divorced him.
