Joe Bowman
Joe Bowman was a minor character in H&A in 1992. He was a neighbour of Donald Fisher's, and the father of Julia Bowman. His granddaughter was Meg Bowman.
He was played by Ron Hackett.

In January 1992, Joe visited his neighbour Donald Fisher out of the blue and offered to buy his house from him (Ep 915). He wanted his daughter Julia and granddaughter Meg to live near him and seemed eager to have them move to the area as soon as possible. Later on, the reasons became clear.
Joe made Donald a very generous offer on the house. Donald had some misgivings, not least because his house had developed some structural issues and needed quite a lot of work done to it. Joe was a builder and told Donald he was happy to buy the house and repair it himself. Donald agreed to vacate the house quickly and the pair shook hands on the deal. A week later, he Nick Parrish and Lucinda Croft moved out.
