Kelly Dingwall (born 23rd September 1970) is a former actor who played Dodge in 1989 and 1995. Kelly later changed his name to Kelly Dale.
Biography[]
Kelly was born in 1970 and was the son of well-known Australian film-maker John Dingwall. As a child actor, he played the role of Spider McGlurk in the children's TV series Secret Valley. Throughout the 1980's he had minor roles in production such as The Year My Voice Broke, Rafferty's Rules, A Country Practice and E-Street. The recurring role of Dodge on Home and Away turned out to be the most memorable role from his acting career.
In 1993 he starred alongside Anthony LaPaglia, Hugo Weaving and Barry Otto in the film The Custodian. It was written and produced by his father and was critically acclaimed at the time. Kelly's most significant acting role after this was that of police diver Sam Bailey in the second series of Water Rats. He quit acting in 1997.
