Les Bagley
Les Bagley was a minor character in Home And Away in 1992. He was the father of Roxanne Miller, Karen Dean and Blake Dean. Les was played by John Orcsik.

Backstory[]
In the late 1960s/early 1970s Les briefly married an English woman called Carol. They had a daughter called Roxanne with her. Les felt being a parent was tying him down so he quickly vanished off the scene. Carol gave Roxanne up for adoption. Les then embarked on a relationship with Margot Dean and they had two children: Blake and Karen Dean. They never married. One day Les went out to the shop to buy a packet of cigarettes and never came back. Margot was left to bring up her children singlehandedly. After her death, Blake and Karen went to live with Alf and Ailsa Stewart in Summer Bay.
1992[]
Les resurfaced in 1992 and made it known to Alf and Ailsa Stewart that he was eager to get to know Blake. He seemed to have turned over a new leaf and was now running a successful pub in The City. He indicated that if Blake came to work for him, good things would come of it. Blake was a bit adrift following the jailing of Karen, so his head was easily turned. Blake left Summer Bay and moved into Les's place. He began working in his pub and at first things went well. Then Les's dark side started to surface.
Blake noticed that Les had no interest in visiting Karen in prison, even though she was being held close by. Blake also learned that he had a half-sister called Roxanne and decided to track her down. He got no help from Les, so he made contact with Les's estranged brother Kevin. Kevin was helpful to Blake but made it clear that he had no time for Les. Les was furious when Blake found Roxanne and was openly hostile. He eventually hit Roxanne in a temper and told Blake what a low opinion he had of Karen.
Having seen what an unpleasant human being his father really was was, Blake returned to Summer Bay. Roxanne travelled with him.
