Louise Crawford (born 1978) is an actress and politician who was temporarily cast as Selina Roberts in 1996. When Tempany Deckert fell ill and needed time off to recover, Home and Away's producers decided to give Selina one of the show's infamous "head swaps". Louise appeared as Selina for 19 episodes during July and August of that year. [1]
Biography[]
Louise made her TV debut in 1994 in an episode of the sci-fi series Time Trax. In 1995 she played Shelley Radcliffe on Echo Point, a short-lived soap which was ironically devised as a rival to Home and Away. She then played Selina on Home and Away. After her time on Home and Away, she went on to appear in All Saints, City Homicide, Offspring, Killing Time, Rush, Neighbours and Nowhere Boys. She also became known as a regular panelist on Beauty and the Beast.
Away from acting, Louise is actively involved in politics and is a member of the Australian Labor Party[2]. In 2020-2021 she was Mayor of Port Phillip [3]
