Owen Dalby was the son of Alf Stewart and Viv "The Guv" Standish. Unbeknownst to Alf, he was given up for adoption by Viv and reared by a family who lived in the Summer Bay area.
Owen was not a pleasant character and his son Ric was fostered by Sally Fletcher and Flynn Saunders. He died of a heart attack after being attacked by Ric.
