Rebecca Nash

Rebecca Jane Nash (née Fisher) is the daughter of Donald Fisher and his first wife Barbara. She first appeared in April 1989 (Episode 276) but wasn't seen again until 1994. She returned again in August 1996 (Episode 1983) and remained in Summer Bay until August 1999 (Episode 2678).

Rebecca has been played by 4 different actresses. For her brief appearances in 1989 and 1994 she was played by Jane Hall and Danielle Carter respectively. The late Belinda Emmett played her 1996 to 1999. apart from a short spell in 1998 when Belinda was replaced by the late Megan Connolly.

Backstory[]

Rebecca was born in 1973 and was the younger of two children. When she was a child, her parents divorced and she moved to The City with her mother Barbara and brother Alan. She became estranged from her father, who did nothing more than send money to his family. In 1988 her brother Alan died from a brain aneurysm.

1989, 1994, 1996-1999[]

Rebecca was first seen in 1989 and after that, Donald visited her offscreen. She returned in 1994, now a budding concert pianist. Donald was less than impressed when hippyish schoolteacher Luke Cunningham took a shine to her.

Rebecca must've had a type because after her return in 1996, she married the equally hirsute Travis Nash.
