Terry Bader (born 1949, London, England) played two guest characters in the 1990s. In 1991 he appeared in six episodes of Home and Away as Simon Fitzgerald's con man father Bill. In the following year, his voice was heard when Simon read a letter from his father. He returned for two 1997 episodes as Gavin Lane [1]

Bio[]

Terry was born in London but migrated to Australia. He graduated from NIDA in 1971[2] In 1974-1975 he played Eddie/Dr. Scott in the original Australian theatre productions of The Rocky Horror Picture show. Over the years he has continued to work in theatre, both as an actor and as a director. He began to appear on TV screens in the early 1970s, acting in series such as Division 4, Homicide, Number 96, the Young Doctors and Chopper Squad. In the 1980s he played Jacko in the comedy series Trial by Marriage. In 1984 he voiced Spud in the children's TV show Mr Squiggle and Friends. Also in that year he had roles in the TV mini-series Bodyline, Runaway Island and Sweet & Sour. In 1985-86 he was cast in one of the lead roles in The Fast Lane, alongside Richard Healy and Debra Lawrance. In 1989 he appeared in four episodes of Neighbours as Jonathon Whiting. He also made guest appearances in Heartbreak High, A Country Practice, All Saints and Spirited.
